Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

Genese CSR aversThose who seek the truth love freedom and fight for justice

… As it turned out, the great majority of the Czechoslovak revolutionary (constitutional) National Assembly, established after the war, was in favor of Masaryk's views and paid no attention to the declaration of common goals of independent Central European views. The National Assembly did not derive its power from the consent of the ruling - it was not chosen by the Czechoslovak people, and the Czechoslovak Germans, Hungarians, Poles and Russians living in the country did not have the opportunity to "organize their own governments on such principles and in the form they believed would best support their welfare , safety and happiness."

The whole chapter 18. HERE. The book was first published in the US in 1986 (East European Monographs, Boulder, New York 1986) and in Czech Republic in 1998. We still live in a lie about our past.

Bata Tomas a JanThe example that Bat'a has provided the world with is proof that capitalism can be done differently. Class consciousness, class hatred and class struggle are concepts that the Zlin labor community never knew. In the Bat'a organization, all employees from high to low had an interest that was of equal significance. That interest was to obtain as large a production as possible, of good quality products at the lowest possible price  (a system that could be applied within a government to offer the best services most efficiently). To approach this objective, each individual is primarily dependent on his own labor power. In addition, however, he is also heavily dependent on everyone else and in this remarkable combination of individuality and collectivity lies the secret of the industrial harmony at Bat'a (or what has been referred to as the Bata Hymm of Work, an organization in motion). The make up of the people of Zlin was by nature no better and no worse than elsewhere, and if labor does take place in the context of a disturbance-free community, then it is only because everyone knows for himself that by delivering the highest quality work, he has served his own interest in the best possible way.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Like it or not, social media is the communication form of the future — not just in the U.S., but worldwide. Just Facebook and Twitter combined reach 1.8 billion people. More than two-thirds of all Americans (68 percent) use Facebook. YouTube is pushing out TV as the most popular place to watch video. Google is the No. 1 search engine in both the U.S. and the world.

War is being declared on the conservative movement in this space and conservatives are losing — badly. If the right is silenced, billions of people will be cut off from conservative ideas and conservative media. It’s the new battleground of media bias. But it’s worse. That bias is not a war of ideas. It’s a war against ideas. It’s a Clar effort to censor the conservative worldview from the public conversation. The Media Research Center has undertaken an extensive study of the problem at major tech companies — Twitter, Facebook, Google and YouTube — and the results are far more troubling than most conservatives realize.

Here are some of the key findings: ENTIRE ARTICLE

The 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia will without a question be not only touching but also pathetic affair, so I ask - did it make any sense to create this new state against the will of all it neighbors and at least a third of its own population?

The long time established Danube monarchy could have been modernized, but instead she was cut apart by silly ethnic spite and hate. So, if you shall celebrate, better light a candle and remember millions victims of illusions about national exceptionalism in the Central Europe.

… “Voices are being silenced, opinions are being censored and conservative media are beány suppressed. These tech companies claim they provide platforms to connect people and share ideas. However, when the only ideas permitted are from one side, any prospect of intellectual discourse dies. If these platforms merely serve as an echo chamber of liberal talking points, everyone loses. Our country is divided and limiting free speech only makes matters worse.“ …

RESTON, VA – The Media Research Center (MRC) released an extensive report Monday documenting the censorship of conservative voices by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Google. The release of this report follows Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s congressional testimony last week where he was questioned about the growing concern that Facebook engages in political bias and censorship.
