No one in this country has yet publicly called on the leadership of the FF UK to resign in its entirety IMMEDIATELY - failing to guarantee the safety of those entrusted to its care! The kindergarten teachers would have been in custody long ago.... Carrying an arsenal of weapons into a university without any problems can only happen in a banana republic, or in the Czech Republic...

Karel Tichy, former investigator: The intervention of the police on the spot was fine. But he does not understand how it was coordinated and why the Prague police were not better prepared for such an event at a time when they were intensively searching for the double murderer from Klánovice Forest for a week. Why, in the two hours between the discovery of the shooter's father's corpse and the shooting itself, the police did not alert the management of Charles University, which would have had the university buildings, including the main seat of the Faculty of Arts, cleared out.
The police are thus complicit in the deaths of innocent people by their incredible slowness. The excuse that there were many suspects cannot be accepted. For a properly applied technique, the number of suspects plays no role, especially with so many clues. Claiming after the killings in Klánovice that there was no danger only reassured the perpetrators and allowed them to continue killing without fear. Paradoxically, the police were far more effective in finding the disinformers than they were in finding the murderer. The self-aggrandisement of the Austrian Interior Minister does not save the situation, it only makes it worse.
A separate chapter is the appearance of top police officers in the media: out of uniform, without caps, even protruding bellies can be found. Often they sit during press conferences, when it is beer that is missing... The chief investigator (a brigadier general of police) boasted that he has been working in the police for 40 years, i.e. he served 10 years under the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia... It shows in his thinking and manners. It's not his fault. He has never known anything else in his life. When you watch the refined demeanor of top police officials from developed countries, you see the unprecedented difference in appearance and manners. Let's not be surprised at the results or the consequences...

Listening to it, I remembered Fial's professor at grammar school, who prophesied him a promising career, but not a professional one... He states the familiar, does not motivate, does not stimulate, does not acknowledge the real state of the economy and the total breakdown of morals in society.
The Christmas speech is more like a grammar school pupil's essay exercise, devoid of emotion, of convincing visions, soulless, with childish gestures in a vain attempt to impress. It is not a personality speaking, but a „reading machine“, like the President of the Senate. How can the Prime Minister know that it won't get worse? The Police also claimed that there is no danger after Klánovice... The President of the Republic still has a chance to really address the country in his New Year's speech....
We are facing a crisis and it is bound to grow - we cannot live forever on debt! Today's times need new Bata's, Churchill's and Reagan's, real leaders and personalities the people do not doubt. JŠ

In the last week of Advent, presumably as a Christmas present, the two venerable old men received an order from the Prague 1 Municipal Authority, Department of Transport, that they
"they plead guilty that they intentionally and with knowledge that they violate the provisions of Section 25 (1) of Act No. 13/1997 Coll., on Roads, as amended, so that from 19.11.2023 to 21.11.2023, without the consent of the Road Administration Office in the Municipal District of Prague 1, on the road-path p.no. Malá Strana in front of the building of the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic in Prague 1, nábřeží Eduarda Beneše 128/4, together with Jiří Gruntorád, erected a tent shelter as protection against bad weather. The size of the unauthorised occupation is 4 m2.'

Passed away at the age of 81 in his second home in the USA. He was Professor Emeritus at Fordham University in New York, one of the most cited and respected Czech economists.
Milan Zelený was particularly interested in the fields of labour productivity, management theory, business economics and multi-criteria decision making. He is the author of more than 600 articles and books in the fields of economics, management and cybernetics. His books Paths to Success, Don't Learn from Your Mistakes, Finding Your Own Way, Everything Will Be Different and It Was a Strange World for You have been published in Czech.
Zelený was born in 1942 in Klucké Chvalovice in the Kutnohorskie region. In 1967 he went to the USA to study, but decided to stay there after the Warsaw Pact troops invaded Czechoslovakia. In the United States he finished his studies and obtained American citizenship. He became a professor of business management at Columbia University in New York, worked at universities in China, Taiwan, India and Brazil, and after 1989 also at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The German media have been talking for months about a €10bn cost-cutting program at Volkswagen that includes layoffs, and Czech labor leader Jaroslav Povšík of Škoda Auto started warning in Sept. that it could affect Czech jobs too. One of the main issues is lower-thanexpected sales of e-vehicles (EVs), and that was even before the generous EV subsidies in Germany ended this week. While the Czech cabinet was putting all its effort into attracting a VW gigafactory, VW was already making plans to downsize its EV output. The CR is now in the position of losing production of regular Superbs and Octavias to Bratislava - to make room for EVs that might not be produced in the expected numbers. Didn't Petr Fiala and Jozef Síkela get wind of this when they met in Prague on Oct. 30 with VW Chair Oliver Blume? Investor Warren Buffett famously said that, "You don't find out who's been swimming naked until the tide goes out." We'll soon find out if the CR is the naked man of Europe.
