I enclose herewith a letter from the wife of Mr. Gilbert Mc Cray, an American and a Briton. I have published many articles in his support - in English and German. This one is dated May 20, 2012, when Gilbert wrote to me from Valdice Prison. A shocking letter! It does not hurt to recall its contents, because judicial injustice continues to this day. J.Š.

... I have never wanted to talk much about my husband, so as not to hurt him, because I know the bias against him in the Czech judicial world. But now I am beginning to fight against all the injustices myself, because the injustice that the judicial authorities have used and are still using against him is unprecedented.
Gil finally got his documents yesterday (his lawyer sent all the necessary documents for his conditional release to the court in Most (3/12/21). They are deliberately prolonging his release. Apart from a normal psychologist (after Gil's arrest he was visited by Dr. Petr Weiss in Pankrác - yes the one who killed two people and is still at large. He diagnosed Gil with BRAIN DAMAGE without a test and suggested an examination by a SEXUOLOGIST from the Institute of Sexology in Prague 2?! The date hasn't been set yet. The very idea of being examined by a sexologist is disgusting. They are deliberately prolonging Gil's stay in jail to further harm him.
Weiss himself is referring his cases to other psychologists, and according to Gil's attorney, he's only trying to hurt him. That's why they're sending a sexologist to him. Nobody wants to believe it. Even in prison, everyone's disillusioned. The behaviour of the court in Most is contrary to all ethics, a flagrant violation of the law, the Constitution of the Czech Republic and the Basic Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.
Gil and I met in 1993 in Florida and have been legally married since 2002, both in the US and the Czech Republic. It makes me sick, it's disgusting.
I'd like you to write about it. I'll write to the court in Most, to the ombudsman and to the institute in Prague.
Have a nice weekend with regards
Sylvie Salter

P.S.
I dropped my surname when the post-communist structures returned my Czech citizenship and Czech passport. I had to pay for it. I was born in the Czech Republic. Thus I have always been a Czech citizen.
