He did not see the implementation of his groundbreaking method of cancer treatment by devitalization. The method was reliable, safe, fast and effective. It had only one drawback - it was cheap, and in this it was dangerous that it was not even allowed to be officially tested. Billions continue to be spent on cancer research and treatment, encouraging any, the slightest hope of research into a cure and its treatment. This only confirms the power of the pharmaceutical industry and how it threatens its immoral dealings with human health. Only expensive cancer treatments are permissible today.
I have no doubt that in time cheap treatments for other diseases will make their way through, thanks to increasingly unsustainable health care funding. They harness the power of the best that nature has endowed man with - the immune system. It works reliably, as long as one does not succumb to fear and place oneself in the hands of the medical industry, for whom the human being is merely a means to the obscene profits of the pharmaceutical industry. We were in the country for a week with other things to worry about.
I remembered now that the esteemed Prof. Dienstbier, the chairman of the League, visited Fortýn and told him not to be sad, that this is the way it is, that experts do not read articles and do not listen to papers at congresses, as if it were only Fortýn's pain and not the immeasurable suffering of the affected patients, and donated 50,000 CZK from the League for further research in Liběchov.
Another member of the League, Prof. Skála, commented in the First Klekánica: Why should we burn our fingers, it's a criminal case!
The chairman, instead of trying to influence his colleagues who were talking about an unscientific method and denying the possibility of such a treatment despite the already known and published results, did what he did - nothing.
We must also empathize with Fortyn, who could cure cancer but could not, was not allowed to, the method was "non lege artis" and there was no will to officially test and acknowledge it when people he could have cured were dying around him.
One day Dr. Fortynova called me to go to Karel, saying that he was desperate and wanted to put an end to it.
Well, at least now the desperate patients are comforted and the pharmacists are making a lot of money!

Unfortunately, the spectacle that the League Against Cancer puts on every year is disgusting as we watch the suffering of all the patients affected.
This organization has done nothing to promote the method and should therefore be called the League for Cancer !!
