Already in 2012, the Ministry of Interior entered into a contract with Hewlett-Packard for the verification of the petition for the election of the President 2013 without a competitive tender, which gives rise to a reasonable suspicion that the control role of the State in the case of the election of the Head of State of the Czech Republic has been illegally brought out. In addition, the petitioners - citizens of the Czech Republic did not provide informed consent and assent in accordance with the GDPR to the handling of their personal data with their consent and intervention of the State - an entity of the Ministry of the Interior - when signing the petition sheets to the individual candidates, thus the above was done without the knowledge and consent of the individual petitioners.
