It is a truth of history that the big have always done and are doing what they want and the smaller ones have to put up with it. It is up to the maturity of the majority to show them the edge beyond which they must not go for the sake of the future of humanity. The citizens of the democratic world have shown this maturity. There is no other way if we do not want a modern Hitler to threaten the lives and futures of billions of people.
Every hour I am expecting the ordered flag of Ukraine to be hoisted together with the flag of the Czech Republic on the house where I live. After many years we can be proud of the unity and actions of the Czech political scene.
