Jan Bata's Dr. Honoris Causa degree has been restored by the university. Finally, it only took 73 years. But, it is progress. Jan A. Bata is now Dr. Jan A. Bata again.
"Our family is very happy to learn the news of the restoration of Jan Antonin Bata’s Dr. Honoris Causa degree in Technical Sciences. He was awarded this degree for his engineering achievements of creating the city of Otrokovice using water jets to level a mountain and building a 50 kilometer canal system (the Bata canal) spanning the Czech Republic and Slovakia to control flooding on the Morava River. We are grateful that his accomplishments are still a part of the nation's memory."

Terrible drame au port de Tanger ville

The newly appointed French consul in Tangier was found dead, Thursday, in his house. Denis Francois, appointed on September 15 by a decree of President Emmanuel Macron, is believed to have committed suicide, Le360 reported Thursday.
According to the same source, the diplomat would have «hanged himself in his room», at around 7 am this morning. Denis Francois joined the French consulate in Tangier in October. Before replacing former French consul to Tangier Thierry Vallat, Francois worked as an adviser at the French Foreign Affairs Ministry.

Some considerations are certainly interesting. The question is, why did the tape appear so late? With the help of today's technology, it is not a problem to create a new past… Today, lies and truth can be successfully questioned. As a result, people are slowly not trusting anyone or anything. Everything is questioned or relativized. There is no better basis for manipulating and influencing most people. It is almost impossible today to prove what is and what is not reality, even if one is a direct witness. We pay a high tax for digitization. Power is concentrated in a small group of people - without any responsibility and public control that no one elected. J.Š.
