I wrote to the Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský on 15.8.2022. I received a reply from the Director of Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, PhDr. Jan Marian, on 2.9.2022.
When I personally informed Senate President Miloš Vystrčil about the matter before his departure to Taiwan, he replied, "Zeman is behind this, yet the train is not running." I recently contacted him again about the matter during the unveiling of the Third Resistance Memorials in Lošany. His response, "Then write about it."...
The media, including the public media, are giving "hands off" this case with a frightening background. It has now culminated in the appointment of Miloslav Stašek as the Czech ambassador to the US, Zeman's man who, from his position as state secretary at the Czech Foreign Ministry, helped to "sweep this scandal under the rug". He was rewarded with this prestigious post. Other "diplomats" who helped hide the scandal from the public were similarly rewarded with prestigious posts. The necessary qualifications, expertise, character and diplomatic experience, most of them do not possess, if any! The Director of Communications of the MFA could not have answered me otherwise.
I will inform other responsible persons in Parliament, in the Government of the Czech Republic and in state institutions on the matter. The information I receive from diplomats around the world is alarming. Even in the "Potemkin democracy" of the Czech Republic, it cannot be permanently kept from the public. The public will be informed about further developments in the situation.
