Statement by oMen Today 14 March 2016 we have decided to chain ourselves to the Russian embassy compound in Prague and symbolically return to Russia its little green men.

Why?

We have had enough of these little green men who continue to exert their malign influence over Ukraine in camouflage kit and over the rest of Europe in civilian clothing. We have therefore decided to return to Russia all of its little green men in all their guises – whether anonymous operatives or well-known operators such as Czech president Miloš Zeman.

We again wish to call your attention to what Russia is doing in Ukraine and in Syria – that it unlawfully occupies Crimea, that through its puppets it occupies the Donbass region of Ukraine, that it uses its bombers to keep Assad, Syria’s bloody dictator, in power and that it wages a hybrid war of propaganda and espionage against Europe, the West, democracy and freedom in general.

It is impossible to turn a blind eye to these crimes and acts of aggression, neither can we ignore the fates of dozens of Ukrainians illegally kidnapped and forcibly taken into Russian territory, nor should we forget about the many Russians who have landed in prison merely because they crave freedom and want their country to belong to the community of democratic countries.

oMen not only wants to draw attention to the widely reported sufferings of Nadiya Savchenko but also to all the other prisoners of the Kremlin regime as well as its victims in both Russia and Ukraine, such as Alexander Litvinenko and Boris Nemtsov, those who died in the shooting down of flight MH17 and the thousands of deaths in Ukraine and Syria.

Putin, take your little green men back! Stop your occupations and your wars, your cynical support for dictators and your oppression of the Russian people!
