Prime Minister Petr Fiala has stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic are competent in matters related to the protection of the external border of the EU/Schengen and the related visa policy. I contacted the current Minister of the Interior, Vit Rakusan (STAN), during the 2021 election campaign.
