Citát dne

Karel Havlíček Borovský

Mill John Stuart citat"Society can be its own tyrant, even when its laws are not tyrannical."

***

"Social tyranny is often far more dangerous than political tyranny. Even if it does not impose severe punishments, there is no escape from it; it penetrates deeper into all spheres of life and enslaves the soul. Protection from governmental power is not enough. It is also necessary to protect the individual from prevailing public opinion and from a society which imposes its rules on those who deviate, prevents the development of individuality and forces all to mould their character after its pattern."

***

"If all mankind were of the same opinion, and only one man dissented, the majority would not have the slightest right to silence the individual, just as that individual would not have the right to silence the majority, even if he had the power to do so."

J. S. Mill "On Liberty"

***

Death belongs to life as much as birth. So does dying, as long as it is natural, not artificially maintained and prolonged. Nothing against the recovery of active people regardless of age, but if people are kept alive "on tubes and pills" when they have virtually nothing left of life, cannot have anything, and only exist undignified, it is against nature, natural and inhuman. Money is consequently lacking for healthy and other necessities. That it is primarily a huge, immoral business is telling of the state of the world today. That is also why there is a growing need for palliative care and an increasing number of requests to end life where the law allows it (Switzerland). Even death should be accompanied by freedom of choice. Incidentally, 6 million children die of hunger every year.

In order to make it easier to manipulate society, it is necessary to rid it of "aggressions and rebels", elements of unrest, i.e. to maintain prosperity and "harmonize" it - by promoting unnaturalness. This is the road to hell, contrary to real, natural life and its immutable principles.

In the past people did not have TV, radio, cell phones, PCs and "welfare", yet they had a "program" for the whole day "from sun to sun", they communicated naturally. They didn't know stress, they really lived, they were never bored. Today, we have a "program" of different "boxes", we are bored and stressed. We have gone "crazy". Let us not be surprised that dementia is increasingly reported - even in the younger ones, including diabetes and other ailments previously unknown to the youth. We have traded life for an empty, plebeian existence. If we do not recover in time, nature will take us down.

The need for health care and social services increases as society ages. Experts point out that spending on these will rise significantly, as will spending on pensions. Earlier, it was suggested that levies could also be introduced for long-term care, as in Germany. We are enjoying prosperity, but we have forgotten what real life is. The solution is not to put the state in debt and thus the citizens and future generations into debt. The solution is to find a way for everyone to live according to their honest work, with the aim of helping the sick and the truly socially needy. Money must be backed by value, by work - not by fraud, crime, theft and by printing more and more of it. Subsidies are not really support, they are poison that corrupts the whole society when we stop valuing honest work and real, capable entrepreneurs.

Tomas Bata and Jan Antonin Bata showed us the way and proved it with their work and their lives. They knew well that without „bread“ there is no life and only money we do not eat. Let us build people and values, let us pass them on to the next generation, let us be an example to our surroundings. Property should serve, not be its slave. Only by doing so can we change the world, our life will have meaning and Nature will thank us. Otherwise, it will punish us justly - as the Supreme Lord. JŠ
