When did you say to yourself that one should not be "farting" on oneself. Do you still think so?
That's true, I would say, on principle. One of the biggest problems of our Western "civilized" society is that we are carried away by ourselves. After all, we're still positive and correct, innovative and progressive, and so we keep patting ourselves on the back, mostly ourselves, because psychologists have told us it's good to praise ourselves. So we praise ourselves.
