Charanz. The Czech Republic candidate for the Euro Commissioner is to be proposed by the end of August.
Readers of this website will not forget how I spent many years dealing with the case of ing. arch. Marek Říčař. He was in a protective police program with his entire family for 5 years, including a change of names. Věra Jourová played a strange role in the case. Neither did the liberating judgment of a future Commissioner remove these strangeness. The course of the last court hearing was, with probability, bordering on certainty rigged. Also, the rate of compensation and its amount (2.7 million crowns) for a 33-day unlawful detention did not create the confidence. Jourová was accused in the Budišov case and acquitted for lack of evidence, not because the deed did not happen! Investigating police officers, whom she confessed (as they were in court under oath), were dismissed, the evidence was destroyed.

July 14, 2019 (KHARTOUM) - U.S. Congress Monday passed a resolution supporting an immediate peaceful transition to a civilian-led democratic government in Sudan, as Donald Booth U.S. Special Envoy for Sudan discussed with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan head of the military junta the ongoing negotiations with the opposition coalition over transitional institutions.

Independent Tribunal into Forced Organ Harvesting from Prisoners of Conscience in China
An independent people’s tribunal has been established to inquire into forced organ harvesting from, amongst others, prisoners of conscience in China and to investigate what criminal offences, if any, have been committed by state or state-approved bodies, organisations or individuals in China that may have engaged in forced organ harvesting.
NOTE: The China Tribunal will no longer be accepting any further submissions in regard to its Judgment, which has been delivered in summary form, with the following proviso: In the event that the Tribunal receives further submissions of an EVIDENTIARY nature or receives requests for clarification(1) on matters of evidence then it will consider those.

June 19, 2019 (KHARTOUM) - African Union Envoy and the IGAD Mediator for Sudan are at odds over the formation of civilian-led authority in Sudan as their difference may further complicate the situation in Khartoum, said sources close to the file said.
On 6 June the African Union’s Peace and Security Council (PSC) suspended Sudan’s membership at the regional body in order to put pressure on the ruling Transitional Military Council (TMC) to hand over power to a civilian government after the bloody raid on the pro-democracy sit-in area that resulted in the death of over 100 protesters.

May 24, 2019 (KHARTOUM) - Sudanese Professionals Association (SPA) Friday has called for a two-day general strike in a bid to put pressure on the military council which refuses to cede the leadership of the Sovereign Council for civilians.
Talks over the collegial leadership council are stalled for more than two weeks now, the Transitional Military Council (TMC) and the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) both claim the chairmanship and the majority of the Council’s seats.
